Georgina Jesuthasan is a PhD candidate at Labtau, where she is studying the use of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to improve glaucoma treatment by enhancing aqueous humor drainage. She is conducting her thesis in partnership with EyeTechCare as part of a CIFRE PhD program.
She holds a Master's degree in Medical Imaging Signal and Systems and an engineering degree in biomedical engineering from Polytech Lyon, where she gained expertise in medical imaging, signal processing, and technologies such as ultrasound and MRI.
She has also worked in R&D at EyeTechCare and as a consultant in qualification and validation at EFOR, developing expertise in technical project management and medical devices.
Driven by a desire to push the boundaries of technology to transform healthcare, she is dedicated to optimizing medical treatments through technological innovation.
