Olivier Rouvière earned his M.D. degree in Radiology in 1992 and his Ph. D. degree in Medical Imaging in 2003 from University Claude Bernard of Lyon, France. He became Professor of Radiology at University Claude Bernard in 2006 and Head of the Department of Imaging of the Edouard Herriot Hospital in Lyon in 2012. He has specialized in Genitourinary and Vascular diagnostic and interventional imaging. His main field of research is prostate cancer imaging using ultrasound-based approaches and multiparametric MRI. He is the President of the French Society of GenitoUrinary Imaging and Deputy Editor of the Genito-urinary section of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging.
