Adrien Rohfritsch graduated from Sorbonne University in 2018. In 2021, he earned his PhD from the Jean Le Rond d’Alembert Institute, under the supervision of Jean-Marc Conoir. His work deals waves propagation in heterogeneous disordered media and the influence of short and long range spatial correlations on the properties of the coherent waves. 


He then joined LabTAU as a postdoctoral researcher and started collaborating with David Melodelima and Emilie Franceschini (LMA) on identifying scattering structures in biological media and changes occurring after thermal ablation, with the aim of improving ultrasound-based thermometry methods. 


He is currently also involved in a project aimed at combining cavitation and the efficiency of therapeutic agents to design new therapeutic strategies for pancreatic cancer. He specifically works on understanding changes induced by cavitation on tumoral mechanical and structural properties of the tumor and its environment.
