Leila Guessoum was born in Villefranche sur Saône. Her professional career really started in 2005 at INSERM as an administrative manager for the High Security P4 Laboratory in Gerland, Lyon.

Since 2016, she has been working at the Laboratory of Therapeutic Applications of Ultrasound as an administrative manager.
