Zhishen SUN was born in Shandong, China in 1985. He received the B. Eng degree in communication engineering from the Southwest University, Chongqing, China, in July of 2008, and the M. Eng degree in signal and information processing from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in July of 2011. From August of 2011 to August 2014, he worked as a software engineer on the project of VOIP in RAISECOM, Beijing China, and a system engineer on the project of FSK speed radar in Beijing Trans-Microwave Technology, Beijing China. Since September 1st, 2014, he has been pursuing his Ph.D. degree in joint supervision between the Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China and LabTAU, the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Lyon France .

His research interests include application of the Lorentz force in electrical impedance tomography and elastography.
