Marine Sanchez was born in 1993 in Grenoble. She holds Biomedical Engineering degree from the Polytech Lyon School (2017). In parallel, she received a Master’s degree in medical imaging signals and systems from the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1.

Her interest in health and medicine innovations motivates her to pursue a PhD project at the LabTAU and in collaboration with EDAP TMS, specialized in High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) transducers for treatment of urological and oncological diseases. She develops an extracorporeal toroidal HIFU device for the treatment of breast tumors enabling the translation from bench to bedside. Marine expects to produce the first preliminary clinical results during her thesis.
