Education

Gabriel Regnault was born in 1995. He first received a Bachelor degree in Fundamental Physics from UniversitÈ Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand in 2016 and obtained a Master degree in Acoustics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2018. In 2018, he started a PhD on microstreaming induced by acoutsically driven microbubbles. The work is financed by the Labex CeLyA of the UniversitÈ de Lyon and is a collaboration between two acoustic laboratories, the LMFA and the LabTAU.

Research

Gabrielís PhD aims to study the microstreaming induced by a bubble in its vincinity. More specifically, the research is focused on the influence of the fluid viscosity and on the intercation between two or more microbubbles. The PhD work reports mainly on yet unstudied experimental phenomena completed by newly developped theoretical analytical components.
