Mathilde Porcherel was born in 1995 in France. She received Vibrations and Acoustics Engineering degree from the French engineering school ENSIM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs du Mans) in 2018. In 2016, she went to Polytechnique Montréal in Canada to study nonlinear vibrations and finite element method for one semester. During her 6 months final-end-year internship, she worked at PYTHEAS Technology, and developed a new type of piezoelectric car’s suspension.

After graduating, she joined the LabTAU, U1032 INSERM. She is working on experimental methods to investigate the interaction of bubbles with BBB-mimicking adherent cells in the context of blood-brain barrier opening by ultrasound (ANR-MOST grant CARIBBBOU).
