Alice Ganeau was born in 1995 in Le Mans. She received Biomedical Engineering degree from the engineering school Grenoble INP-Phelma in France in 2018.
She joined the LabTAU, U1032 INSERM for an internship of 6 months in 2018. The project was about a new method of thermometry and tissue characterization: Quantitative Ultrasound (QUS), information on the microstructure of tissue coming from the backscattered signals. The purpose of this research project was to develop a new acoustic method for monitoring HIFU treatment and explain the biologic tissue transformation.
After graduating, she joined the PERFUSE project, working on a new technology of ultrasound probe for prostate cancer.
