Cécile Fant was born in Dijon, France, in 1991. She is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the National Veterinary School of Lyon (ENVL) since 2015 and received in parallel a Master degree in Cancerology & Therapeutic Innovations from the University of Lyon, Claude Bernard Lyon I, in 2016.

Her major interest in human as well as veterinarian medicine and in therapeutic innovations in cancerology motivates her to pursue a PhD project at the LabTAU in collaboration with the Research Center in Cancerology of Lyon (CRCL). She studies the interaction between a focal ultrasound treatment and the antitumour immune response at preclinical as well as clinical levels.
