Sophie CAMBRONERO was born in 1994 in France. She recieved her degree in biomedical engineering- medical imaging and therapy in 2018 from the french engineering school PHELMA-Grenoble INP.

During her 6 months final-end-year internship at the LabTAU, she worked on the development of new treatment strategies to treat non invasively hepatic tumors with a toroidal HIFU probe. Her intesrest for this technology led her to keep working on the project as a biomedical engineer position.  This work has led to a feasibility study under preclinical validation. Finally, she also develops a new toroidal HIFU transducer meant for extracorporeal applications.
